Get rdy: Competitive guide for April 20-26th

A new week is upon us and that means events and competitive matches will be gearing up or winding down. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

League of Legends

LEC

In the LEC Vitality locked in their playoff spot with two full weeks of competition left to go.

This upcoming Next week is the LEC Roadtrip week, hosted by Karmine Corp at Les Arènes, Évry-Courcouronnes

LCK

In the LCK, KT Rolster continued its undefeated run through Rounds 1-2 of the LCK 2026 Season, but we’re still weeks away from knowing which teams head to the LCK 2026 Road to MSI

In-game

League of Legends Season 14 Split 2 is also just on the horizon. Last week, Riot Games unveiled the changes that would go into the next split, set to run from May 15 until Sep. 24.

The recent changes mean that ranked and competitive games can now feature WASD controls for the first time.

Counter-Strike 2

Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026

IEM Masters Rio 2026 crowned a (not so) new champion over the weekend. Team Vitality's stranglehold on elite level Counter-Strike tightens and tightens, with arguments against them being the best team of all time becoming harder and harder to fathom.

This next week will be a bit quiet before picking up again for BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 starting on April 29th.

Dota 2

PGL Wallachia Season 8

PGL Wallachia Season 8 brings together a diverse field of contenders, challengers, and hopefuls. Sixteen teams have already begun their journey at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania, from April 18-26th, battling for their share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

Things kicked off this last weekend with the first of the group stage. So far Team Yandex, the defending champions in the Wallachia series, and Tundra Esports, the recent ESL One Birmingham 2026 champions, are both sitting on 0-2 series records. That means they are on the verge of elimination.

The group stage will wrap up on Wednesday, April 22nd finalizing the eight teams that will advance to the playoffs set for this upcoming weekend.

DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4

DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4 began yesterday, April 19th. A total of 16 teams will compete on the European servers for the largest slice of the $50,000 prize pool and chance to qualify for DreamLeague Season 29. This season two slots are up for grabs and defending champions, Aurora, are not on hand to thwart hopeful teams.

Regional Affairs

Local and regional fans have some treats on the menu this week.

Southeast Asia

EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 14 will continue through the 23rd. Eight local teams have been competing for the $10,000 prize. Neither Yangon Galacticos nor GLYPH who won the last two seasons are on hand, allowing a new champion to emerge.
