Team Liquid finalize Dota 2 roster with Malr1ne signing

Team Liquid have officially welcomed Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak as their new midlaner, completing their Dota 2 roster following a busy post-The International shuffle.
The move had been widely speculated following Team Falcons' departure from Dota 2 in September.
While several of his former teammates quickly found new homes, Malr1ne remained without a team, with his recent wedding also keeping him occupied away from the competitive scene.
For Liquid, the signing fills the vacancy left by Michał “Nisha” Jankowski, who announced an indefinite break from competitive Dota 2 after four years with the organisation. Nisha's departure came shortly after Liquid parted ways with offlaner Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard, who was subsequently replaced by Adrián “Wisper” Dobles.
With their midlane position still unresolved, Liquid turned to veteran Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng as a temporary stand-in for BLAST Slam VIII. The team finished 9th–12th at the event, giving their new-look lineup its first competitive outing, albeit without a permanent midlaner.
Malr1ne arrives with considerable experience at the highest level, having been part of the Falcons lineup that won The International 2025. His addition gives Liquid another established championship-winning player as they look to rebuild around their remaining core.
