Get rdy: Competitive guide for May 11-17th
A new week is upon us and that means events and competitive matches will be gearing up or winding down. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

League of Legends
LEC
The LEC Spring Roadtrip concluded the 2026 Spring Regular Season with fireworks, and not just in the games, as streamers Kameto and Ibai clashed on social media over harsh words from the latter over Karmine Corp’s quality of a team. Movistar KOI, unfortunately, couldn’t back up the bravado of its co-owner Ibai, losing to KC head-to-head.
This week the Playoffs kick-off, with Team Vitality poised to turn their 8-1 season into a trip to MSI and EWC.
LCK
With HLE locked in to a playoff spot with three weeks to go, and T1 hitting their stride, we’ll see some major challenges this week with KT Rolster, having fallen from an undefeated streak, taking on 11-1 HLE, and T1 challenging Gen.G.
LCS
In the LCS' two undefeated teams, only one playoff spot remains in Week 7, with disguised and Shopify Rebellion, the two teams battling for it, set to face off in the final week of the Regular Season. Meanwhile Team Liquid will try and crush undefeated C9, bringing them crashing back to reality and into a lower seeding for the post-season.
MSI looms in the distance, and EWC qualifiers before that. The leagues are hotting up and the major international events of the year suddenly seem very close!

Counter-Strike 2

PGL Astana
In case one Counter-Strike tournament wasn't enough, the CS overlords have blessed us with two. PGL Astana has already started, and we've seen karrigan's mixed start on Falcons, with 9z beating them in three maps that saw karrigan not reach 10 kills in any of them. Also, we saw poor CrePoW on Fisher College mustering up 12 kills. Total. At the event. It started on Saturday!
PGL Astana is set to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan from May 9-17th with 16 teams competing for the trophy and lion's share of the $800,000 prize pool.
IEM Atlanta
Meanwhile, IEM Atlanta kicks off in the evening for us Europeans, meaning one can start at 7am CEST watching Astana and watch CS until about 4am, if one so pleases. Sleep, like AWPing, is for the weak.
That one starts with s1mple vs ZywOo, so if Astana starts running late just switch it off pronto. Or second screen it.
The event takes place from May 11-17th with 16 teams competing for the largest portion of the $300,000 prize pool in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Dota 2

DreamLeague Season 29
DreamLeague Season 29 kicks off on Wednesday, May 13th featuring 16 teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool and 28,300 EPT points. As usual, things will start with a long group stage, with playoffs beginning on Sunday, May 17th.
DreamLeague Season 29 is the final stop on the ESL Pro Tour so these points remain critical in the race toward the Esports World Cup 2026, where 13 teams will qualify through the standings. As of now only seven spots are still open.
1win Essence I
1win Essence I wraps up today. PARIVISION, 1win Team and PlayTime (former paiN Gaming, former SAR) are the last three teams standing.
Regional Affairs
Local and regional fans have some treats on the menu this week.
Europe
Another week, another European Pro League. Season 37 takes place until May 12th with 12 teams, mostly from Eastern European (as usual), competing for the $20,000 prize.
Southeast Asia
EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 15 kicked off on Friday and will continue through the 14th. The 15th iteration of this series sees eight local teams competing for the $10,000 prize pool. GLYPH is among those present.
Lunar Horse Trophy 7 began on Saturday, May 9th and will continue through the 29th. It features 10 regional teams competing online for $15,000.
