Get rdy: Competitive guide for February 27th-March 4th

The weekend is almost here and that usually means events and competitive matches are in full swing. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

Counter-Strike 2

Now that PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 has come to an end as Team Vitality claimed another title and trophy after taking down PARIVISION 3:0, there isn't much on the competitive menu.

ESL Pro League Season 23: Online Stage will begin on Sunday, March 1st with 24 teams competing online for one of the eight spots for the LAN finals that will take place in Stockholm March 13-15th.

For Stage 1, 16 teams will compete in a Swiss System Format. All matches are Bo3 and the top 8 teams proceed to Stage 2.

The most exciting part of ESL Pro League is the debut of the new 'Team Earth' Passion UA roster, with Senzu making his debut over Grim. It's full of the types of teams Passion UA need to be either better than or as good as for this team to be considered a success, so all eyes on their first test.

Dota 2

DreamLeague Season 28

DreamLeague Season 28 began February 16 and will continue through until March 1st with $1,000,000 on the line. We're back to 16 teams as opposed to the whopping 24 teams we saw in DreamLeague Season 27.

The playing field had been whittled away to eight teams for the second group stage. Now eliminations have begun there. PARIVISION has been the first to be knocked out. MOUZ are at the bottom and were expected to be eliminated last night, but seemed to hold on for at least one more day. They go up against Liquid next, which is going be quite the uphill battle. Two other teams will also be taken out before the weekend playoffs, leaving only four. None have yet secured a place there, though LIquid and Tundra are sitting in the top two slots.

Regional Affairs

Local and regional fans have some treats on the menu this week.

Eastern Europe

Not much is known about the Esports League Super Cup Pro Division scheduled to take place between March 1st-15th, but it seems to be an online and then offline event in Moscow. There will be eight teams —six invited and two from qualifiers — competing. No teams have been announced yet. The prize pool is roughly $20,000.

Southeast Asia

EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 12 began on February 2nd and will continue through the 20th. Seven local teams have been competing for the $10,000 prize. Carstensz Esports, an Indonesian-based organization, assembled its first roster and officially stepping into the scene. They signed Randy "Dreamocel" Sapoetra, Ryan “Raging Potato” Qui, and Malaysian legend Wong “ChuaN” Hock will take on the role of head coach. So far the team barely hanging on as they try to survive the group stage.

A new season of Lunar Snake Trophy 6 started on February 7th. Ten teams are competing for $15,000. Carstensz Esports is busy trying to find their footing. Contrary to EPL, here they are leading not just their group, but overall in the event with a 3:0 series (6:1 games) record. The action is expected to wrap up March 3rd.

South America

CCT Season 2: South America Series 3 will see 12 invited teams battle it out for the largest slice of the $20,000 prize pool. The event will take place through the 8th of March. Amaru Gaming, Infamous Gaming, and x5 Gaming, featuring some of Brazil's top talent and names, will be on hand.
