PARIVISION lose any chance at DreamLeague Season 28 playoffs
PARIVISION finished in the top 8 at their first tournament with their new offlaner, Valery "SSS" Lazarev, who joined the team at the beginning of February 2026.
Consistency has always been a challenge for PARIVISION. The recent roster changes, which besides replacing Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin with SSS, also meant swapping out coach Filipe "Astini" Ribeiro for Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, seem to have only deepened the problem. PARIVISION placed second in the first group stage at DreamLeague Season 28, taking games off Team Liquid, Aurora, and Xtreme Gaming, and securing a clean 2-0 victory over BetBoom Team.
However, as all these adversaries also made it to the second group stage and adapted their strategies as they progressed in the tournament, PARIVISION found themselves completely figured out with no aces up their sleeves. Day five of the second group stage brought PARIVISION their fifth consecutive loss. The final nail in the coffin was put in by Team Liquid, who are now sitting on a 5-0 series record and are the first team to have locked themselves into the playoff stage.

A predictable end
Despite starting their do-or-die series against Liquid on the right foot, PARIVISION’s creative drafts didn’t make the difference in the next two games. They took the win in the first game of the best-of-three series with a signature offlane Largo from SSS, which prompted Liquid to first-phase ban the hero in the next two games.
Game two brought a “normal” draft from PARIVISION, who had Edgar "9Class" Naltakian on Shadow Demon and Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov on a carry Windranger. In theory, they had powerful lockdown and strong AoE damage in their lineup, but they were outplayed by Liquid and forced into a decisive game three. PARIVISION tried to salvage it all with a Jakiro mid lane, a position 4 Slark, and a carry Kez in the third and final game, but Liquid were fully prepared for a draft like that and sealed the deal in under 30 minutes.
Although they are technically eliminated from the tournament, PARIVISION still have two more series to play in the single round-robin format of Group Stage 2. That means they can easily disrupt other teams competing for playoff spots. Their next two adversaries are MOUZ, who are also at the bottom of the group on Day 5, and Falcons, who are going through a bit of a rough patch after Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf developed an eye infection and had to step down on Day 3 of the group stage. Since then, Falcons have used two stand-ins and are currently on a 2-2 series score in the bottom half of the group.
The next two days of the group stage will decide which three teams will join Team Liquid in the playoffs and which three will follow PARIVISION out the exit door. The playoffs will be played over the weekend, February 28–March 1, in a double-elimination bracket.
