All rdy: Your weekly recap of November 3rd-9th
Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the Dota 2 scene. Amidst the constant swirl of drama, tournaments, patches, and roster swaps, there’s always something unfolding behind the stage. From surprise upsets and standout performances to off-stage hiccups, each week brings a fresh mix of chaos and exctiment to our favorite (and often times most hated) game.
Tournaments
BLAST Slam IV
BLAST Slam IV finally reached the playoffs stage after being put on hold for FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 to take place. Only six teams were flown out to compete in Singapore in front of a live audience. The grand finals took place between Tundra Esports and Team Falcons, a replay of the BLAST Slam III grand finals. This time it took Tundra the full five games to secure their victory over Falcons and seize the trophy. It was absolute cinema and the ending was chaotic and entertaining to say the least.
DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2
DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2 entered into the playoffs this weekend as well. While that event is still going on through tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th, it is over for both Puppey and the Peruvians. Perrito Panzon were eliminated in the group stage in dead last place. Puppey and company in Team Public squeaked through to the playoffs but were eliminated in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals by Team Tea 0:2.
The event favorites, and only Chinese team, Team Tidebound are still in contention for the slot for DreamLeague Season 27.

Virtus.pro
Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin parts ways with Virtus.рro’s Dota 2 roster.
Virtus.pro were determined to make a splash in the 2025-2026 season and were set to compete with a truly international line-up to compete in Western Europe. The roster was formed by the long-time Evil Geniuses and Shopify Rebellion coach Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale, alongside Virtus. pro's Head of Dota 2 division, Georgy "drAmer" Faleev.
However the team has yet to see any notable results. The team qualified for DreamLeague Season 27th which will take place December 10th. After qualifying for FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, they ended up in 15-16th place at the event. They narrowly missed qualifying for PGL Wallachia Season 6, coming in second place to MOUZ and then tanked in Fissure Universe: Episode 7 with a 9-10th place finish and ended up with a subpar 9-16th place result in the RES Unchained 2 qualifiers.
There is no word on who will replace Daxak, or where he will end up for the season.
