Vitality win BLAST Rivals Fort Worth in yet another 3-0
Getting a bit silly now, this.
During map one, at half time, with Vitality 1-11 down, BLAST played a clip of players reading mean comments about their teams. One included Aleksib reading about how NAVI winning a map off of Vitality would be a success in itself, and he sort of laughed it off. At 11-1 up, that nonchalence looked pretty cool.
It looked less cool when Vitality won the map in overtime, though.
NAVI went 11-0 up in the first map of the grand final, and then Vitality won 21 of the next 23 maps. We blinked and they were 5-1 up on Anubis. iM was unkillable in the first half, but he ran into the flameZ/mezii brick wall too many times on the T side of Nuke as Vitality mounted the most unlikely comeback imaginable.
Well, it might have been were it not for it being Vitality.
The amount of smoke kills and damage with utility around smokes for Vitality was staggering, and it must have been one of the most frustrating maps NAVI will ever play. There were eight clutches in this game, split evenly. So many tight rounds, and just one more goes your way...

Map two was no less frustrating, with NAVI losing a 3v5 to a mezii double as B anchor and ropz cleaning up with a 1v2 to win round 24. NAVI were in this map from start to finish, but just couldn't get it over the line.
Intensely frustrating for everyone. Except, well, Vitality, who keep on plugging away. ropz and makazze had a straight shoot-out for top performer on this map, which was good to see as makazze has famously had issues against Vitality.
You might have noticed we haven't mentioned ZywOo. He was suspiciously quiet on the first two maps, which makes it all the wilder that Vitality won from 0-11 down without him going off.
He did, however, make map three a complete non-event. He strolled around Dust 2 like he owned the place, and to be honest, we daren't argue with him that he doesn't.
We are witnessing the greatest team of all time. They've just beaten one of the best teams in the world while basically not practicing, from 0-11 down on map one, 3-0. They are ridiculous.
Congratulations, Vitality. You've beaten the game.
