Vitality glide into another grand final to find NAVI waiting

Via PGL

Vitality coasted to an easy win over a pretty lacklustre Aurora - though who can blame them.

flameZ is in absolutely sparkling form and continued it with the desolution of Aurora on the stage, leaving quite an easy path for ropz and ZywOo to waltz through and clean up, with the Turkish side barely landing a glove on Vitality.

ropz was effusive in his praise for flameZ in his post-match interview with us earlier today.

I feel like he is so high in terms of his peak right now in form, and he's still going. I don't even know where it's gonna end up. I think today was another showcase of that. It's less kills for me, but if that makes my life easier and wins come easier I really don't care. The end goal is to win trophies, and not individual things so I'm just happy.

It was another game on stage where XANTARES got nothing going, though he is not the first and won't be the last to get pounded by Vitality en route to another trophy, and as such we shan't hold it against him this time.

What is most terrifying for everyone else is that this was won on both sides; Vitality's stalwart defence was headed up by flameZ on Inferno, and a swashbuckling offense led by flameZ and ropz on Nuke put them in an unassailable position.

This was a complete performance against what is, undoubtedly, a top 8 team in the world. Watch out.

NAVI were pushed to a decider by PARIVISION but came out on top to set up our most-wanted grand final matchup.

makazze had a rare off-game on Inferno, posting just six frags, but was once more the lynchpin on the two NAVI map wins and showed up in the decider after having such a tough second map.

PARIVISION do have the ability to lock you down and frustrate you, but truly great teams will find a way out from under Jame's oppression eventually, and that's exactly what NAVI did on Mirage. NAVI hit eleven on their CT side as Jame's boys struggled to find any openings, with only two first kills in the half, and b1t breaking their back with two clutches even when they got into the rounds.

PARIVISION's only round came from xiELO, who in fairness was the only one to come out of that T side with any credit, with the clutch and a handful of multikills (more than the rest of his team combined) not being enough for more than one round.

NAVI, quite simply, look like one of the best teams in the world, probably 2nd right now, and should give Vitality a hell of a game tomorrow.
