The FaZe miracle run continues with Vitality awaiting
There's just no way that FaZe are doing it again.
They've found their way to another Major final after coming back from another backs against the wall situation against NAVI and will play in tomorrow's final against all odds.
It's worth remembering they were milliseconds away from losing to RED Canids and going out in the first stage, and now sit just 39 rounds away from being Major champions tomorrow - as insane as it sounds.
Twistzz' 1v3 at the end of Inferno summed up the whole game as he was the sole man against three with weaker weaponry and still pulled off heroics out of nowhere to drive a stake through NAVI's heart and all but guarantee FaZe's spot in the grand final.
FaZe were 2-8 and a map down on Nuke and fought back to force a third thanks to a stonewall defence led by frozen, who was otherwise quite quiet. He won a back-breaking 1v3 on the comeback that really started to confirm the doubts in NAVI's heads, and really put the comeback in motion, sticking the bomb defuse in NAVI's face.
NAVI smashed FaZe on map one, but that was all forgotten when FaZe cut through NAVI on Inferno and Twistzz sealed their fate, and put FaZe - somehow - in the grand final.
Vitality pulled off a comeback of their own on map one to deny Spirit and donk a simple victory, before crushing their dreams fully on map two.
donk was excellent in map one, but found his match in mezii who stood tallest in the wreckage to drag Vitality kicking and screaming back into a game they were 4-11 down in and make some time for the rest of his stars to catch up - and catch up they did.
This seemed to tilt donk to oblivion, and he wasn't the same player on map two as Vitality had a relatively easy win.
Vitality needed overtime on map one, but no such luxuries were afford Spirit on map two as Vitailty looked indomitable in the absence of sh1ro and donk's superstar levels.
Fingers have to be - and are being - pointed at hally and chopper in the wake of a poor T side performance on map one with the game seemingly in a won position, and donk might just be at the forefront of getting those changes through.
