Spirit dismantle MOUZ in gruesome 2-0 in Astana

It's been a while since we saw such a comprehensive donking.

MOUZ just didn't show up at all and got their proverbial backsides handed to them. Five rounds over two maps is less than ideal, we would say.

donk split his 36 kills perfectly evenly over the two maps, going 18-9 on Dust 2 and then 18-7 on Nuke. Both maps, for clarity, were fewer than 18 rounds. MOUZ obviously have a stand-in in jL and a new player in xelex, but this is still a pretty terrible showing.

Perhaps most worrying is that Spinx, who is not new to the team and still in his star roles, failed to reach double figure kills for the series. xertioN, too, has been running insanely hot of late and he didn't just regress to the mean, he regressed to the IGL mean today. Not pretty.

Some days, you just get donked. More than that, sometimes you just get battered. magixx, Spirit's bottomfragger, outfragged everyone on MOUZ. donk had more multikills than Spinx had kills, and more headshot kills than any MOUZ player had kills.

Just a domination.

m0NESY did to magic what donk did to MOUZ to put Falcons in the grand final.

magic put up more of a fight than MOUZ did, but were never really in the game and it felt like Falcons had another gear to go into just as magic made it close.

m0NESY's 26-6 on Dust 2 was absolutely gorgeous to watch - a masterclass in AWPing. His level since karrigan has joined has been exceptional and we just want to watch him play more. Can he play in every game? Like, can someone just sub him in every game?

We would like to say that magic have done fantastically to get this far and did not disgrace themselves today, but quite simply were not and are not as good as Falcons today.

No shame in that - very few teams could have lived with m0NESY today.
