OG signs cadiaN, seeks rifler to complete roster

After narrowly missing out on the Major, OG has made a couple of major moves to improve on their solid, albeit unsatisfactory, late season.
Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Christoffer "Chr1zn" Storgaard were the ones to depart, leaving the team without an AWPer and a leader in the game.
Fortunately for them, there was one player available who could fill both roles in one smiling package: Casper "cadiaN" Møller. cadiaN was available after some rather tumultuous stints at both Astralis and Team Liquid, where he left with his price tag lower than it had been in a long time.
His stint at Heroic, however, was legendary, and it's important to remember that this is a guy who was a fantastic AWPer and better IGL before CS2 came out, and it would be foolish to write him off based on two bad runs on teams that have been notoriously difficult to shine.

cadiaN has also returned to his big green gun, which he had given up in Astralis to make the device great again, which leaves room for another rifle.
There were rumors on Twitter/X about OG chasing FL4MUS, but they have to be taken with caution. It would be perfect based on its pre-VP form, but it's stuck in Virtus.pro contract jail after they paid a fortune for it. They would want a fairly high fee, and without Major's money, it seems unlikely.
Only time will tell if this move ends up reviving cadiaN's career or burying it, but there are signs of hope.
OG was a good team before and has some pretty fun and interesting pieces that cadiaN can work with, without the superstar egos he had on the teams he's traditionally struggled on (North, Astralis and Liquid) and looks more like the teams he's had success on (HEROIC, Rogue).
However, a lot will depend on the incoming rifler, as previously the team was not good enough to make it to the Major, and Chr1zn was by no means a bad IGL at this level. We've already seen how far one player can change a team's fortunes, and if they could sign FL4MUS or someone of a similar level, we could see OG in the top 20 in no time.
He could also go down the tubes, of course; cadiaN hasn't been very good in CS2 and a top team needs a top AWPer. You can recreate your HEROIC system, but it's not the AWPer it was then, and it doesn't have the same firepower.
However, we prefer to be optimistic.
