ZywOo: "My keyboard was dying on Inferno"
To no one’s surprise, Vitality showed why they’re the undisputed #1 in the world in the BLAST Open Rotterdam finals. They made quick work of NAVI, winning the series 3-0, and yet the scorelines still flattered NAVI.
Aleksib and co managed to gain momentum after Vitality hit matchpoint twice, just to get thwarted at the same hurdle, 12-10. After the game we spoke to ZywOo about their Inferno game plan, what caused the tech pauses, and the importance of stopping NAVI’s momentum. Here’s what he had to say:

First of all congratulations on another tournament win. I'd like to start off by asking you about Inferno. Your T-side was very heavily leaning towards their B-side at the start of the game. Was that a weakness you identified, or an attempt at conditioning?
I think that's the way we play mostly on that map. If you watch our last 10 games we like to pressure banana first, and after finding a way maybe on A or finding a gap on B. I think that's mostly our playstyle.
Obviously maybe today we played like that a little bit more because we know they don't like to play 3 B or if they play passive, there's only 2. So we maybe put more pressure on this. But that's mostly the playstyle, the way we play.
I am glad I get to ask you this, what was going on with your peripherals at the end of map 1, and the start of map 2?
My keyboard was dying on Inferno, it was doing crazy things but I was still playing with it. So after that I was changing my keyboard, because I didn't have a second one. So we just changed it after.
At the end of Anubis, NAVI started getting some momentum. Then you start of Dust 2 with ropz dominating the pistol round, and you hitting a wallbang through doors. How important is it to stop NAVI's momentum like that?
I think it was good because they were playing slow, they were trying to control the map, they were trying to, not put pressure, but taking control all over the map. And also, on Anubis it's kind of hard to always take info when they have mid, they have A pressure, they have B. So we are trying to find a gap, but it was really tough.
But yeah, I think to find the momentum in that way was also just to push ourselves to do better moves, to do better team moves as well. It was our goal to do that.
Even though we were trying, sometimes they were in better positions.
This wraps up our coverage of BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, it was a pleasure covering the event and we hope you enjoyed the interviews. For rdy.gg this was Horizzon, and I hope you have a good week ahead.
