The MongolZ pulled off a famous victory to enter a grand final in their home continent.

bLitz had an absolute stormer to drag his team over the line in an enthralling contest that went deep on both maps, but The MongolZ held their nerve against the bigger team to once more prove the critics wrong. They had their wobbles in this game, but nin9 stood up to be counted when it mattered even while having a poor game.

His triple flipped a 2v5 into a 2v2 for bLitz to clean up at 10-10, quite literally changing the course of the game after NAVI had battled back into it. This was a backbreaking round loss for them, followed up by a triple from cobrazera to put The MongolZ on match point.

Techno then sprayed down three from Batman to round out a solid game for him, and The MongolZ were 1-0 up.

bLitz continued to be a nuisance for NAVI, breaking the first pistol round on Inferno back with a triple, and wiping out all three in a 2v3 a few rounds later. Techno's game-winning spraydown seemed to galvanise him too, as he was excellent on Inferno in some tough positions.

What's most impressive for The MongolZ is that 910 went missing, with w0nderful causing them all sorts of problems, but they won without their star man. Inferno was a grind as ever, but they came out on top and may have 910 fit and firing tomorrow - which would make them an even scarier prospect.

MOUZ were simply just too good for BETBOOM as they outclassed them heavily on back-to-back maps to put themselves in prime position for some silverware.

Ancient has been a very good map for BETBOOM, but they got manhandled badly on the defence after a T side where things just didn't quite click. Magnojez found himself in dangerous positions that never quite materialised, zorte couldn't get picks or into post-plants and BB were fortunate to get five. One of those rounds came because xelex missed a molly and mollied himself by accident.

s1ren did what he could - he didn't deserve to lose - but nobody else stepped up in BB's time of need.

xertioN was superb, and continued his form into map number two, Mirage. MOUZ basically don't lose Mirage, and so it was a pretty steep task to begin with. MOUZ were relentless; after an even first half, they locked BB out 7-2 on their defence, with PR and torzsi detroying attacks over and over again.

This was a remarkably routine win for MOUZ against a BB team who have been tricky to handle of late.
