ash headlines IEM Cologne talent announcement

ash joins yNk, STYKO, dupreeh and Pimp to form the desk at the upcoming IEM Cologne Major, with Freya as the main presenter.

Some presenting work will be shared between stunna and Pimp at times too, with stunna doubling as sideline reporter with sjokz, and the iconic OJ Borg will host the stage.

These are some of the most experienced and gifted broadcast talents in Counter-Strike, but it is notable that the desk is filled with more recent players and coaches than in years gone by. STYKO, dupreeh and ash have been involved with a CS team more recently than many of the other overlooked talents, and this seems to be a deliberate decision from ESL.

ash is probably the least experienced talking head there, but he comes with a wealth of coaching experience and respect from fellow professionals.

There's little shake up on the casting side, with probably the four most prominent and likely the best duos in Counter-Strike telling the stories.

The ubiquitous SPUNJ and MACHINE duo will be in Germany, alongside Harry and Hugo, Scrawny and Launders and Moses and dinko.

Moses and dinko have established themselves as probably the best candidate for that fourth spot, and their reward is being part of the Major broadcast. The other three duos need no introduction, and frankly a Major would not be complete without any of them.
