Get rdy with me; The upcoming weekly planner for competitive matches.

A new week is upon us and that means events and competitive matches will be gearing up or winding down. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.

League of Legends

LEC

G2 Esports secured their record 20thLEC title this past weekend, concluding the 2026 LEC Spring Split with a hard-fought battle against Karmine Corp. KC had defeated heated rivals Movistar KOI to make it to the finals, but fell at the final hurdle. All three teams are headed to the EWC in a few weeks, while G2 and KC are the LEC’s representatives at MSI

LCS

C9’s undefeated series streak came to an unceremonious end this past week with a loss to Lyon. The NA squad will now have to face Team Liquid to head to the LCS finals later this Week and secure the final spot at MSI for north america

LCK

The LCK2026 Road to MSI tournament started this past week with BRION being eliminated by Dplus, before Dplus narrowly found themselves eliminated by KT Rolster. The LCK will decide its final two MSI participants this week.

LPL

And in theLPL, LGD Gaming and JD Gaming were eliminated from the LPL 2026 Split 2 playoffs, ending their chances of a trip to the international events of June and July. Team WE fell to the lower bracket of the playoffs after a 3-0 defeat to Top Esports, and will find out who they’ll face later this week as Bilibili Gaming and Anyone’s Legend Clash.

It’s the final week for MSI and EWC qualifiers and things are heating up!

Counter-Strike 2

IEM Cologne

Turns out donk should not have been in stage two of the IEM Major Cologne .

He's made a mockery of what is supposed to be Very Serious Business by smurfing his way through the stage with a 2.27 rating average. AVERAGE.

They were joined by FUT who beat G2 in a barnburner, with FlyQuest (obv) and GamerLegion (less obv) bombing out 0-3.

TYLOO have marched to 2-1 with BetBoom, Monte and BIG, as Astralis, M80, Legacy and MIBR respectively dropped down.

The fun doesn't stop.

Qualifiers

June is officially qualifier month. On the heels of the Esports World Cup qualifiers, things shift into The Interantional qualifiers. The open qualifiers for all five regions begin tomorrow, June 9th. There are two sets of opens that will funnel winning teams into the closed qualifiers for each region. Closed qualifiers begin for all regions next week, June 15th.

There are bound to be some interesting, if not entertaining, stacks headed through opens so it is worth keeping an eye out for them.

Regional Affairs

Due to the nature of open, followed by closed qualifiers for The International, all regions are pretty much focused on that the next few weeks.

Europe

European Pro League Season 38 started on June 4th and will continue through the 21st. There is a prize pool of $20,000 on the line and teams participating in it are probably looking to use this as advanced scrims for the open or closed qualifiers for TI. All twelve teams were directly invited.
