G2 fall to 0-2 on day two of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026

Another close loss for G2 sees them 0-2 - at some point, close losses are not good enough.

G2 will once more find themselves in the 0-2 bracket after a tough loss to Aurora.

You have to feel a little bad for them as this was another series of very close maps, even though it was 2-0, with Aurora winning in round 24 and round 30 back-to-back.

Jimpphat had another stellar series to add to his catalogue on Aurora, as he was one of the carry duo on both maps in a tight game. He and XANTARES helped squeeze Cache over the line (though it was Wicadia's triple which ultimately sealed the deal), and the Finn dovetailed with w0xic to eke out a win on Inferno.

w0xic pulled off the round of the series to save Inferno; with G2 on map point, in a 5v2, w0xic produced a bit of magic to find all five kills and keep the map alive - and in the end, lead to a map and series win.

It was his three kills that settled round 30, too, in case he hadn't had enough impact.

This was an incredibly fun series - unless you're a G2 fan. Their ability to consistently lose these close maps is almost impressive, but probably needs to be looked into.

NAVI moved to 2-0 with a very impressive 2-0 over FURIA.

FURIA's form hasn't been brilliant of late, but neither has NAVI's, and to win in such convincing fashion can only be a huge positive at this time in the season. b1t was fantastic on both maps, but Aleksib put in serious work on Dust 2 to put FURIA down in just 18 rounds.

This map could be summed up by Aleksib finding three kills back-to-back-to-back in a 3v5 to put NAVI on 12, with FURIA lost on post-plants and site holds all game long.

When even KSCERATO is having a bad game, you know things are looking dire for FURIA. They're now in the 1-1 bracket, but a map like that gives us little to no faith that they can be the team we know and love again right now.

Liquid couldn't repeat the heroics of yesterday, as they fell in two to FUT. You'll notice a pattern - every game today was a 2-0.

FUT absolutely crushed them, with dem0n going bananas in the back, and SunPayus continuing to look like a giant upgrade on cmtry. FUT look scary - we're excited to see them in a big game soon.

Poor TYLOO had to play Spirit in a 0-1 game. You can guess how that went. The Chinese team got just eight rounds as donk took out his anger on 'em. Sometimes the luck of the draw is just not with you.

Vitality did similar damage to their Asian opponents - The MongolZ got a relatively generous nine rounds in their BO3, as ZywOo and flameZ tore into them for 69 kills combined.

Guess what? 9z got just eight rounds in THEIR BO3 vs MOUZ. All those upsets yesterday, wasted so quickly. luchov stood tall as everything crumbled around him, and MOUZ ran riot.

Legacy's 2-0 over DENDELE was much harder fought, but a win is a win. try put in an absolute masterclass to spare Legacy's blushes on this one, dropping 29 on map one and then 30 on map two. A demo worth downloading, that one.

zorte impressed yesterday and was possibly even better today, ripping Nemiga to shreds to sneak into the 2-0 bracket. We're taking them seriously, now.
