SunPayus is looking like an unbelievable signing for FUT.

We've always been fans here on rdy.gg, but him dragging his new team to a second map win on Dust 2 is the sort of thing that's going to make everyone stand up and take notice.

Vitality took Mirage and it felt like it might just be over, because Vitality don't lose from that sort of position very often, but a crazy performance from SunPayus equalised the score as he went 17-9 including a game-defining 1v2 in round 5. Vitality started up 4-0, but SunPayus' clutch started the scoring for FUT, and he made it 4-4 with a quad kill.

He was a constant thorn in the side of Vitality, and though he was quieter on the deciding map, he had a big part to play in a clutch to bring FUT to three, most notably.

Anubis was simply just a top team performance from FUT, and we have to say, our curiosity has evolved more into a burning desire to see this team play more. They were already top eight, and now might just be one of the best teams in the world.

A third map masterclass from donk got Spirit over the line against FURIA as he dropped 27 on Mirage to put Spirit in the 2-1 bracket.

Both teams stole each other's map picks in convincing fashion thanks to superb showings from their respective AWPers - sh1ro dropped 23 on Nuke, and molodoy returned the favour with some massive rounds on Ancient, leaving Mirage as the decider.

It was a back-and-forth map with everyone having big rounds - but donk in the first ten rounds was extraordinary. He picked up multikill after multikill and had Spirit 7-3 up after 10 rounds before FURIA put up a bit of a fightback. FURIA won the next four, and thanks to some crazy work from YEKINDAR even hit 11 first, but Spirit won the final four rounds as sh1ro woke up to put in two big rounds to close out the map.

We had some worries about FURIA, but they answered a lot of them by competing so well in this one. We're less worried.

BETBOOM pulled off a crazy 2-0 over NAVI to go 3-0 and straight into playoffs, just as we all expected.

Magnojez went berserk on Nuke as NAVI's mini-resurgence was halted, leaving us completely baffled as to how good they are. As is tradition. Sometimes, Magnojez just does that, and there's not a lot you can do about it, we guess. Similarly, when both b1t and makazze have an off-day, NAVI aren't winning anything.

G2, hilariously, managed to go 0-3 with a loss to DENDELE. We like DENDELE. They're probably better than you think. But they shouldn't be beating G2 in a big game. Not 13-5 on both Nuke and Inferno. It's just an embarrassing loss for G2, and not a single one of them really came out of the game with any credit.

They were joined by 9z, who not long ago were the flavour of the month underdog, as TYLOO won back-to-back maps 13-5 13-7 to reverse sweep the series. Zero went absolutely bonkers on Nuke; 19-9 doesn't even tell the full story of how good he was.

MOUZ 2-0'd The MongolZ in an enjoyable and relatively close game, but ultimately you always felt like MOUZ would have enough to get it over the line. It did require something quite special from PR, though, on Mirage, and new boy nin9 for The MongolZ put up a lovely 1v3 for the montage.

Liquid continue to not be awful for once, beating Legacy in two thanks to a superb performance from malbsMd. The Doctor dropped 34 for the series, picking up the slack as Jorko went missing on the second map.

Aurora, finally, beat Nemiga 2-0 with an uber-dominant Anubis.
