FURIA collapse and get kicked out by FaZe at BLAST Rivals

Yeah, we don’t know either.

FURIA are eliminated from contention at BLAST Rivals as they got obliterated by a karrigan-less FaZe Clan on two separate maps.

Dust 2 and Nuke were both complete walkovers, with frozen topping the scoreboard both times, though in truth you’d struggle to find a FaZe player who wasn’t better than their FURIA counterpart.

This was an excellent audition for Neityu, who seemingly has improved FaZe overnight, as we suggested he might. He was FaZe’s best performer by a mile on Mirage, and held his own on the other two maps as well. He's a solid anchor who is obviously better in server than karrigan, and that seems to be enough to at least make FaZe a little bit better.

For FURIA... we're lost for words. We don't know where they go from here. This is disaster just a month before the Major.

Vitality were once again unconvincing in victory as they threw away a massive lead on Mirage just to win in overtime against G2.

apEX was clipped saying that they weren’t great on T side, and boy was he right; G2 won 11 straight to start off their CT side and get map point after an 11-1 half in Vitality’s favour. SunPayus was sensational, picking off kill after kill and was at one point responsible for three quarters of G2’s opening kills.

His CT side was extraordinary, and he honestly deserved to win that map. Vitality squeaked into OT and finally showed up to win it, but were pegged back on Overpass with SunPayus once again doing the damage.

That didn’t last long, though, as Vitality finally looked themselves to smash G2 on Dust 2 and complete a win that was expected in a manner that definitely wasn’t.

ryu had a much better day as Astralis cruised past a makeshift FUT team to stay alive in Fort Worth.

FUT might have taken a map off of the best team of all time, but couldn’t do the same to HooXi’s Heroes here, as Astralis were controlled and accomplished throughout.

HooXi himself led from the front with 38 kills, which is a rarity but always fun to watch. In fact, both IGLs topped the scoreboard for their respective team, which is even rarer.

NAVI were in cruise control as they 2-0'd GamerLegion in a manner that only makes FURIA's loss look even worse.

w0nderful and makazze dropped 86 between them. GamerLegion as a whole only combined for 117.

A good day at the office for NAVI, who continue to be ruthlessly efficient against weaker opposition.
