The big players stood tall today with the two most hyped players in the event dropping massive amounts of kills in routine wins for both Spirit and FURIA.

donk came out swinging in the second game of the day against SINNERS by outfragging everyone else in the server by at least 15 kills over two maps. He finished the series 45-28, with the next highest fragger being sh1ro at 30-24 - meaning he had at least 50% more kills than anyone else, too.

This was powered mostly by his 28 kill haul on Mirage just about getting Spirit over the line on the first map 13-11, while tN1R joined him on 17 on Nuke in a more simple 13-5 win.

molodoy's 40-17 might have been even more impressive, albeit he had a couple of teammates getting close to him. He had over three times as many kills as poor raalz as FURIA breezed past 9INE 13-8 13-9.

The loss of Train to bring in Anubis hasn't impacted him much it seems, as he bagged himself a 3K/D in map one. Maybe he really is a top five player in the world after all.

Inferno was a bit more of a team effort, with YEKINDAR and KSCERATO joining in the fun, but this was the molodoy show. Go rewatch that first map, it was glorious watching.

In the other 2-0s it was a pretty good day for debutants, with piriajr and zweih putting in work.

BetBoom's inconsistency plagued them once again as they failed to ever really get going against paiN despite magnojez' best efforts, and piriajr was a standout on both maps. He came into paiN with little fanfare, but if he keeps playing like this we'll all know his name very, very soon.

Jame seems to have a better idea of how to get the best out of zweih, as he looked back to the form that made Spirit sign him in the first place. PARIVISION had a massive upgrade dropped in their lap with zweih, and so far it looks like a wonderful fit. He dropped 56 in two maps, though the second map, much to Jame's delight we suspect, went to 42 rounds.

That's his comfort zone.
