Legacy shock Falcons to deny karrigan first trophy at CAC
Falcons will have to wait a little bit longer to taste their first silverware with karrigan at the helm.
Despite a first map victory on Nuke - Legacy's first pick - Falcons couldn't break double figures on any other map as they collapsed to a 3-1 defeat. karrigan, in solidarity, didn't manage double figure kills on any of the four maps.
That does make it harder to win - though NiKo went missing as well, especially on CT side. He has some key roles and failed to deliver 50 ADR over the series, which simply isn't good enough for a player of his calibre, though isn't unheard of in a grand final.
Still, at least kyousuke is back to his best.

Enough about Falcons, the losers, and let's talk about Legacy.
They were the winners of CAC last year, with lux, and now they're the winners with arT. The common denominator is (well everyone else but mostly) latto and dumau, who have been playing together since the GODSENT days and have always been a team who could and would upset the big boys when they were on it.
latto especially today was superb, single-handedly pushing Falcons to the limit on map one and going one further and scything them open with 16 (!) T side kills in a 4-6 losing T side half after a 9-3 win on the defense. Do you understand how insane that is? They got four rounds, and latto had four multikills, 150 ADR, 16 kills and a clutch. He won that map on his own.
Mirage saw the pair both rise to the occasion with huge rounds, both winning a clutch each and turning what should have been quite a close map into a one-sided game. Falcons' CT side couldn't contain the pressure on karrigan's side of the map - he had over 100 ADR, but his rotator, NiKo, had just 27 and half the kills, and the site would collapse.
That led us to Dust 2 with Falcons needing a win, and boy did kyousuke try his damnedest to deliver it. The poor kid dropped almost a kill per round and 100 ADR and only got six rounds to show for it, as karrigan, NiKo and TeSeS capitulated around him. m0NESY was generally fine throughout the series, stuck in the middle of a house of cards that collapsed, but he was eclipsed by saadzin on this map.
The Brazilian AWPer had his best map of the series by a country mile, turning round T side rounds that looked lost time and time again, and led Legacy to another trophy.
Sorry, karrigan, you'll have to wait.
