BetBoom shock Vitality to glide into playoffs
The deadly Magnojez/FL4MUS duo we mentioned yesterday just toppled the best team of all time, by the way.
Magnojez was exquisite on Nuke as he put Vitality to the sword and ruined their perfect run to the final. He was also excellent on Anubis, which was the other map that BetBoom took in this series. While one can write off the former as a bit of a gimmick-y map if one so chooses, the same judgment cannot be metered out to Nuke, and beating Vitality on it will always be impressive.
Vitality have had some T side issues, and only four on Anubis and a measly two on Nuke brings that conversation back to the forefront. Their CT sides are some of the most fearsome in history, but right now their offense has been lacking.
Given FL4MUS is only on loan for this event, and this is the best BetBoom have looked in ages, one has to assume they'll be trying to make that deal more permanent. Not a bad start for this version of the side.

s1mple's BC.Game were eviscerated by B8, with npl getting some long-awaited revenge on CSGO's greatest player.
Stand-in ScrunK, who is usually the analyst for the team, played like an analyst who was standing in. He hit the perfect 0-12 on the T side of Overpass, and died in all three CT rounds that were played as well, mustering up a kill at least. B8 won Overpass 13-2, but were taken all the way on Mirage despite s1mple never really getting going.
Senzu showed what he can bring in flashes, but all in all it was a pretty disappointing showing from BC.Game, and B8 stay alive.
paiN pulled off an eyecatching win over FUT in a pretty attritional game, including a huge comeback on Dust 2 to win in round 24.
FUT had eight at the half, but paiN won in regulation with nine CT rounds thanks to biguzera - who also won an exceptional 1v4 on Nuke.
FaZe breezed past NRG in a way that they should but rarely do, while NAVI shared stomps with GamerLegion before winning it in a back-and-forth Mirage. makazze has struggled so far in Atlanta, which is something of a concern given his previous consistency.
Legacy dominated Astralis to continue their assault on the title of weirdest team ever, while SINNERS won out in a poor game against Passion UA.
Team Liquid knocked out M80 in another pretty low quality game - not that they'll care.
