BC.Game finalise deal for Senzu

BC.Game are keeping their star rifler - but still have no leader.

Despite not quite hitting the heights expected of them as a team, and of Senzu as a player in a sense, BC.Game saw enough to pay the buyout for Senzu and sign him to a more permanent deal.

BCG seem to have a lot of money behind them and almost certainly won't stop here, with the Portuguese contingent which they spent so much money on already being shifted out, leaving them in need of two more players. With the main three roles filled (star, second star and AWPer) it seems likely that BCG will look for a top tier IGL and support combo - something that is not easy to find at all.

Senzu brings with him a very high ceiling and a little confusion; his departure from The MongolZ while he was still killing it as a player was shrouded in mystery, but he was so good that one would likely be willing to see if you can coax that out of him without whatever baggage he has.

He started off extremely well on this team and tapered off a little, but BCG were a bit of a structural mess and it's hard to judge too much until they have more of a real roster.

In terms of filling out the roster, the obvious choice for IGL would be kyxsan. His stock is as low as it'll likely be for a while after Falcons won the Major without him, but he's still a very capable, talented and promising leader. He's already managed big egos in his fledgling career, so this wouldn't be too big a step, and has proven he can take teams from outside the top 30 comfortably within it.

It's almost too obvious a move, but we really like it.

Finding a support is a lot harder - most teams need something slightly different from a support player. It's quite telling how few good fits there are in krazy's roles exactly. Someone like mopoz, who is likely available as Gentle Mates look to sell the whole roster, could be a decent fit on the T side, but his CT roles are completely different. Bymas has been excellent on Monte, and with the IGL leaving, could make sense as a signing - but role wise, he's completely different.

Obviously with a new IGL coming in, a shake-up of roles and styles is quite likely and players shouldn't be discounted solely for that, but it's more of a style and versatility thing. Bymas has played all kinds of roles and appears to have truly matured as a player, so we wouldn't be averse to that move.

The ideal would be an elite support player, but you have to consider why a player would drop from a top 10-15 team to BCG. Instead, there's maybe room for someone who has lost their way a bit but used to be elite; while the model HATES the idea of a move for sjuush, we like it. He did some unholy work for HEROIC back when they were on top, and NIP have been somewhat hamstrung by other issues (namely their second star being extremely underwhelming), so we're willing to overlook it for now.

We know sjuush can be excellent, and maybe, just maybe, he's still got it in him.

More chance of that than turning HeavyGod's head.
