Aurora switch their fifth once more

Back before Aurora were Aurora, Eternal Fire kept switching their roster around to try and find the combination that worked for them, and it took them a while to power through some pretty awful months of Counter-Strike to find the Turkish line-up that could actually change their story.

It felt like every week they were switching the fifth man in the line-up, and this week they've gone and done the same.

jottAAA was the newest addition to the squad when he replaced Calyx, which seemed on paper to be a huge upgrade, and it was an upgrade but perhaps not as big of one as Aurora hoped. jottAAA was solid if unspectacular, and didn't seem to ever consistently reproduce his form from Sangal at the top level - maybe understandably.

Aurora are going back to the well of ex-Sangal players, though soulfly has more recently played for Fire Flux. Seems Turkish teams love the concept of fire.

soulfly was quite highly rated as a youngster on Sangal but struggled to find a consistent level - though his ratings tended to be okay, he was consistently in the red K/D-wise. It should be mentioned his role wasn't exactly as the star player, but one would probably still want a little more production.

He's seemingly improved on Fire Flux, at least enough to attract the attention of Aurora.

There were suggestions that they'd need to go international if they wanted to keep up the dream, but clearly they feel differently. soulfly is probably the best available Turkish player, so it made sense for Aurora to go for him.

This is once more an on-paper upgrade, but playing for Fire Flux and playing for Aurora is a big difference - and only time will tell if he can make the step up.
