Aurora crumble to miss out on Malta - BLAST Bounty day five
Aurora continue to slowly spiral as defeat to GamerLegion leaves them out of contention for Malta.
Their end of the year in 2025 was disappointing, and so far the solitary move for soulfly isn't paying dividends either - but if they want to stay all Turkish, they have no other choice, really.
GamerLegion are not a bad team, but Aurora have been a level above them for a long time now, and when hypex is dropping 55 questions have to be asked. Snax has come back to GamerLegion this winter and already seems to have gotten more out of the team, while MAJ3R continues to look lost.
There's a lesson there.
It was a relatively close and interesting series until map three, where Aurora failed to ever get going with only the new lad soulfly putting up any resistance.
Worrying signs.
Team Liquid and Falcons both picked up relatively comfortable wins, with the former dropping map one before coming back with two simple wins after.
It was pretty clear to see why Gentle Mates picked into Inferno, as they quite clearly had Liquid's number and seemed to know what Liquid were going to do before they did, but outside of that the player quality shined through.
siuhy and EliGE dovetailed nicely as an aggressive pair to get through Mirage, while it was NertZ and NAF who combined to strangle the Mates out on Nuke. Somehow, ultimate ended up top of the scoreboard, suggesting it was a perfect day at the office in terms of getting everyone working.
When you have two different pairs of riflers powering you to a win, and your AWPer still finishing top of the board, that's quite encouraging.
Falcons collected a routine win against a Monte side who gave NAVI so much trouble, with m0NESY putting in some serious work with both rifle and AWP. His 3k to put Falcons on match point on Mirage to turn a 2v4 into a 2v1 was spooky, and if he can keep this up Falcons could be a real threat to that #1 spot this year.

HEROIC dominated a lacklustre paiN to book their spot in the LAN finals, with nilo and susp both putting in stellar performances to ruin the Brazilians' day.
paiN continue to underwhelm, despite being a solid enough team, and will seemingly always let you down. HEROIC don't even have an AWPer.
