9z move to 2-0 to ruin karrigan's start

As it rises, so it must fall.

karrigan's opening day win on Falcons must have been a huge relief after the backlash from his decision to leave FaZe, but today he must be feeling the heat as 9z put Falcons in the 1-1 bracket.

Take nothing away from 9z - this is an exceptional win for them, building on an impressive win over PARIVISION yesterday. They're looking in very tasty nick right now, with luchov and dgt once again dovetailing for 40+ kills a piece.

Map three was an absolute shellacking from 9z, and karrigan couldn't manage double figure kills on any of the three maps. He's not there for firepower, but just a hint of it might be important.

This is a worrying showing from Falcons, albeit very early on in the project.

donk put on a masterclass as Spirit 2-0'd The MongolZ in a joyous game of Counter-Strike.

This game had something for everyone, including the sadist - Spirit's bottlejob in a 3v1 to win the game at 15-12 on Ancient was quite amusing (not that they thought so when The MongolZ made it to second OT). Watching donk play the game is an absolute privilege, and he was every bit as good as he always is. What a phenom.

MOUZ stood tall to topple G2 with xertioN proving himself a handy IGL and fragger simultaneously. xelex has had some tough moments anchoring sites (he was visibly uncomfortable on Dust 2 B), but also showed all of the qualities that made MOUZ bring him up to the main team in the first place at other times.

This was, also, a very enjoyable match to watch. Isn't Counter-Strike great?

As ever, PARIVISION were less joyous to watch, though this was more down to the quality of opposition. They two-zipped Fisher College with CrePoW only adding seven more kills to his tally. Poor bloke's best showing so far is four kills on a map.

Aurora bounced back with a 2-0 over The Huns, while molodoy continued his reign of terror by smacking HEROIC around in another 2-0.

magic couldn't repeat any of the good parts of yesterday's game against The MongolZ as they were dismantled by Monte, and Gentle Mates beat K27 2-1 to start the day.
