Two of the Team Secret players will be competing at the upcoming Season 5 of PGL Wallachia under the EDGE banner.

EDGE is the newest competitor in the South American region. The organisation was formed in mid-April of this year by Evgeny Roshchupkin, the former CEO of Tundra Esports. The initial roster was secured by acquiring the Peruvian team Mosquito Clan. About a month later, EDGE welcomed Lee "SunBhie" Jeong-jae in the coaching position and began the training for the Esports World Cup and The International 2025 qualifiers. However, both qualifier campaigns were unsuccessful for EDGE. They came in second in the TI2025 qualifiers after losing 1:3 to HEROIC, but were eliminated in the first lower bracket series in the EWC qualifiers.

While they missed the chance of making their debut at the two biggest tournaments of the year, the season is not over for EDGE. The team was handed a direct invitation at PGL Wallachia Season 5, which is set to start this coming Saturday, June 21st.

Following the qualifier campaign, EDGE moved their safe lane duo, Yheremi "payk" Arroyo and Junior "Yadomi" Rimari, to an inactive status and began looking for options that would help them improve their performance.

In what seems to be a short-term solution, EDGE will arrive in Bucharest, Romania, with Clement "Puppey" Ivanov and David "Parker" Nicho Flores from Team Secret.

Interestingly enough, Parker, although he is still under contract with the European organisation, did not play in the recently concluded qualifiers with his team. Instead, Puppey gave him the free hand to test his luck in SA with Team Sin Compromiso. The two will now reunite at EDGE, where Puppey is welcomed by another longtime friend. Coach SunBhie sat next to Puppey for three years, from 2017 to 2019 and helped Team Secret to claim numerous championship titles, including the Chongqing Major, the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, ESL One Katowice, and ESL One Birmingham 2019.
