Clavisions Masters Snow-Ruyi is the next tournament on the Dota 2 calendar
Following the culmination of the Esports World Cup, China is the next stop for Dota 2 as the Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi is set for kickoff.
Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi 2025 kicks off on July 28, with 10 teams fighting for their share of the $700,000 prize pool. Amongst these are many contenders for The International 2025. This makes the event a fantastic precursory event to the prestigious tournament, where teams can show off their skills and test new strategies.
Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi blasts off from China
On the back of the Esports World Cup 2025, many teams are beginning their preparations for TI 2025. With a few tournaments between the two events, teams will have very few opportunities to go head-to-head in person. With that, we have the Clavision Masters Snow Ruyi 2025, an offline event taking place in Zhangjiakou, Shanghai.
The event features 10 teams, including 6 that are heading to Hamburg, Germany, in September for TI 2025. While a smaller tournament, Clavision’s collaboration with OGA Dota Pit brings the prize pool to a staggering $700,000.

Aurora Gaming was originally part of the tournament. However, due to personal reasons of one of their players, the team decided to withdraw. This left the spot open for Team Yandex to join.
The tournament will see the 10 teams split into two groups. During the Group Stage, each team will play through their group in a round-robin fashion. The top team from each will head through to the semi-finals of the Playoffs, while the second and third place in each group qualify to the upper bracket quarter finals. The remaining two teams from each group will find themselves in the lower bracket, facing elimination right from the get-go.
While all games are a best-of-three, the grand finals will be a best-of-five brawl to find the champion of the Clavision Masters Snow Ruyi 2025.

With a little over a month before TI 2025, this is a great time for the teams to test out some strategies, or for others to poke holes in the weaknesses of the TI-qualifiers.
