16 hours of Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi ends in two eliminations
As the playoff stage for the Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi kicked off today, the first two teams would be eliminated from the event.
It was a day of extreme delays as the Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi went into its playoff stage. With two upper bracket series to start things off, two elimination lower bracket closed out the day. With a day that lasted nearly 16 hours due to technical issues, we finally saw the final two series and the first two teams to take a backseat at the tournament.
Xtreme Gaming take a second win
Xtreme Gaming’s performance at the Clavision Masters Snow-Ruyi has been far from impressive. Although claiming a few games here and there during the Group Stage, their only all-out victory came against BOOM Esports. A lot of this can also be linked to the team playing with two stand-ins for the time being. However, going up against Yakult Brothers in the first elimination series of the day was just what they needed.

The team took game 1 with ease, as Wang “Ame” Chunyu’s Templay Assassin cut their opponents down. Although they were on the backfoot in game 2, XG managed to turn everything around and secure a 2-0 win. The loss for YB meant that they were the first team eliminated from the event.
BOOM catch a break
Surprisingly, BOOM Esports came out fighting int the second elimination series of the day. Having only won a single game during the Group Stage, it was great to finally see the Southeast Asia squad find their footing. Unfortunately for Team Yandex, they were on the receiving end of the strength of BOOM finally showing. With a clean 2-0 sweep, BOOM moved on in the Clavision Masters, claiming their first series victory to move on in the lower bracket. Their next series would be a tough one, as they face BetBoom in the next round.
Earlier in the day we saw both Tundra Esports and Gaimin Gladiators overcome BetBoom Team and PARIVISION, respectively. Those victories sent them into the upper bracket semi-finals. For the losing teams, their lives were now on the line in the lower bracket of the Clarivision Masters Snow-Ruyi 2025.
