1v1 champ AloisNL to face off against thebaus in Tyler1 All-Stars Week 9

Tyler1 All-Stars, the premier League of Legends 1v1 tournament organized by streamer Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp returns this week for its ninth iteration, and its third week of the current season.

Last week saw Olaf-specialist JbearLOL scream to victory against a tough field, putting Draven one-trick humzh to bed after a best-of-five finals. But after that thrilling NA finals, its back to EU for Week 9 where some of the most famous 1v1ers from the region will be battling it out.

AloisNL, thebaus, and BROHAN headline Week 9 of the Tyler1 All-Stars

As mentioned, this week we’re back in EU, with a different lineup than Week 7, but plenty of the best 1v1 players from across the LoL streamerverse.

Here’s the current player list:

Of course, we expect all eyes will be on Baus, the farmer Los Ratones player and one of the most popular players in the entire event. But Baus will face AloisNL in the first round of the event. A two-time weekly winner, Alois has won every single edition of Tyler1 All-Stars he’s competed in.

Week 9 Tyler1 All-Stars Round 1 Matchups

The opening bracket of Week 9 will featured the following matchups:

• LimitTester vs. Lmzs
• Thebausffs vs. AloisNL
• Kaori vs. BROHAN
• PowerOfEvil vs. Kerios

Unfortunately for Baus, he’s facing a reigning EU champ in round one. That surely means a quick trip to the lower bracket (remember this is a double elimination tournament).

Elsewhere, former LEC star PowerOfEvil will face off against toplane specialist Kerios. While pro-experience doesn’t mean much in 1v1 competition, we’re predicting a victory for PoE.
