KC win three to capitalize on home-court advantage for LEC Roadtrip
KC kicked off the proceedings against top-contender Natus Vincere, a six-win team headed into the weekend, and a squad already locked-in for the LEC Spring Playoffs. However, NAVI found themselves humbled in KC’s most dominant display on Friday, April 24, a 2-0 sweep with the crowd behind them.
Karmine Corp’s biggest challenge, surprisingly, came from last-place Shifters. The team, who moved to 0-7 on the season, almost pulled off the upset of a lifetime against KC during their French sojourn. With the series tied at 1-1 before the final game, fans were braced for a brutal defeat, only for KC to pull back and secure victory.

Against Karmine Corp, Fnatic proved why they’re sitting at the bottom half of the Spring Split table, fumbling a 1-1 to give KC three-straight.
Karmine Corp moved to the top of the schedule, with just Movistar KOI, GIANTX, and G2 Esports left on their schedule. While all of their upcoming opponents are in must-win situations to lock-in their spot in the LEC Spring Playoffs, KC are comfortably secured after their 3-0 win, and now-undefeated stint.
The 3-0 record also highlights just how special these Roadtrip events can be. With a fanatical crowd behind them, KC seemed unstoppable, even in the face of upsets and top-flight opponents. The next LEC Roadtrip, hosted by Movistar KOI in Madrid, could potentially feature KOI desperately battling for their final chance at PC
