Jynxzi unveils 40-creator LoL tournament set to take place next week

Twitch streamer and recent League of Legends-enjoyer Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart is set to host a new streamer-focused tournament next week.

Announced on stream by Jynxzi earlier this week, on Monday, May 11, Jynxzi will host a 40-creator tournament focusing on low-Elo content creators captained by a Challenger player. Here’s the details:

Jynxzi’s LoL creator tournament details

After announcing the tournament on May 4, Jynxzi went on to reveal a few dozen confirmed creators joining the event during a stream on May 5. Here’s the confirmed participants:

While obviously that’s a little under 40 players, the event is still a few days out, and more are likely to sign up. There’s also a huge variety of talent, from former pros to streamers who’ve put thousands of hours into the game.

The 40 streamers will be divided up into eight teams, with eight captains. Each captain will be a Challenger-level player. The rest of each team will be made of Iron to Silver rank players, ensuring only a single Diamond or Challenger rank player per team.

As the host, Jynxzi will likely not participate. However, his current LoL coach, and co-organizer, Dantes will be participating.

Jynxzi has had a tumultuous start in League of Legends. The streamer, who rose to prominence as a Rainbow Six Siege streamer, before shifting to variety in the year, has played numerous titles over the past few months, before recently beginning a journey in LoL.

In April, the streamer was banned by Riot Games for purchasing a level 30 account, before being gifted a fresh account by Riot. Not dissuaded by Riot’s ‘our way or the highway’ attitude, Jynxzi is set to host this streamer star-studded tournament next week.
