All rdy: Your weekly recap of February 9-15th
Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the esports scene. Amidst the constant swirl of drama, tournaments, patches, and roster swaps, there’s always something unfolding behind the stage. From surprise upsets and standout performances to off-stage hiccups, each week brings a fresh mix of chaos and exctiment to our favorite (and often times most hated) games.

Players and Teams
Virtus.pro's spiral into complete and utter irrelevancy has been completed as they finally finished their dissolution of everything that ever made them decent and win them (well, technically not them) a Major. fame and FL1T are available for transfer, leaving VP in need of a total rebuild - which in fairness, they needed. It's just... we'd rather build around fame and FL1T than b1st and tO0RO.
Passion UA are building the 'Earth superteam' with a player from each continent (and hopefully a penguin from a sixth), but our hopes were slightly dampened when we found out it was Grim who is supposedly leaving instead of nicx. It makes more sense role wise to have Senzu in Grim's roles, but it's much less exciting.
Oh, and supposedly they outbid NAVI for Senzu, so says the CEO. But then, he would say that.
Tournaments
Meanwhile, G2 are 0-2 at PGL Cluj-Napoca, which would be depressing if it wasn't so predictable and kind of amusing. They'll probably recover to at least a 2-2 game, but it would be perfectly G2 to then go out 2-3.

BLAST Slam VI
BLAST Slam VI's grand finals saw Natus Vincere taking on Team Liquid. Despite NAVI having been seeded directly to the semi-finals of the playoff stage thanks to their top run in groups, Team Liquid remained the favorites - Read Team Liquid conquer BLAST Slam VI
The International 2026
The hype for The International 2026 is already starting to build. The pinnacle of all Dota 2 events will be heading back to Shanghai, China in 2026. In a blog post, Valve detailed the dates for the upcoming event, hinting at the theme and heralding a tournament milestone. Hitting its 15th anniversary, TI 2026 will take place at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China. 16 of the best teams in the world will come together, through open qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and a Swiss-style group stage, where only 8 will claim their spot at the main event.
Once locked in, the teams will begin a tough Group Stage from August 13th-16th, before the top 8 head into the Oriental Sports Center from August 20th, with the grand finals on August 23rd crowning the TI 2026 champion.
