The International 2026

The International 2026 info

The International 2026, also known as TI 15 or TI 2026, returns to Shanghai, China, after seven years. The last time TI was held in Shanghai, the Dota 2 community witnessed a record performance from OG, who became back-to-back champions. A feat no team has ever replicated since then. The battle for the Aegis of Champions will once again be held on Chinese soil, in the Oriental Sports Center from August 13 to 23rd. Team Falcons are the reigning champions. They come to defend their title with the exact same roster that won last year. Could China be the magic place where back-to-back championship runs happen? Stay tuned, stay rdy, and watch the pinnacle Dota 2 tournament of the year unfold!

A total of 16 teams are headed to Shanghai to fight for the most wanted trophy in the Dota 2 competitive scene. Seven received a direct invite from Valve. Nine more joined them via regional qualifiers as follows:

Directly invited teams: BoomBoys, Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, Iron Wing, Team Liquid, Team Yandex, Xtreme Gaming.

Regional qualifiers winners:

• Europe qualifiers: Team Vision, Team Spirit, Nigma Galaxy, HULIGANI
• South East Asia qualifiers: OG
• South America qualifiers: LGD Gaming

Due to China's strict regulations on betting sponsorships, where gambling is entirely illegal and all related promotion is prohibited, some of the organisations had to rebrand for The International 2026. PARIVISION are competing at TI 2026 as Team Vision, 1win, who have just recently acquired the Tundra Esports line-up, will play under the Iron Wing tag, BetBoom Team have become BoomBoys, and L1ga are HULIGANI in Shanghai.
