Last month, Team Tidebound confirmed its new squad for the Dota 2 season following the departure of Bach and bLink, who finished 7th-8th at The International 2025. The reshuffle brought in former LGD coach Yao "Yao" Zhengzheng, as well as Xu "Echo" Ziliang and Li "niu" Kongbo, and so far things are going well.

The Chinese team received a direct invitation to participate in DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2, with the winner being offered $15,000 and a spot in DreamLeague Season 27.

Tidebound dominated the group stage, taking first place with a 6-1 series lead (12-5 in games played), and then advanced through the upper bracket of the playoffs to the grand final. It took them a streak of five consecutive wins to defeat eSpoiled, but their perseverance paid off, as they clinched the final spot in the 27th DreamLeague season and gained valuable momentum heading into PGL Wallachia Season 6, which begins this Saturday.

Tidebound lineup:

  • Guo "shiro" Xuanan
  • Xu "Echo" Ziliang
  • Li "Niu" Kongbo
  • Lin "planet" Hao
  • Zhang "y" Yiping
  • Yao "Yao" Zhengzheng (Coach)

DreamLeague Season 27.

Earlier this week it became known that MOUZ will replace Team Avulus in DreamLeague Season 27.

This is the second change in the lineup for this event. Just a few weeks ago, Flipster TALON also left, and Team Aureus - now playing under the OG banner - became the next SEA representative.

DreamLeague Season 27 will be the first tournament of the ESL Pro Tour 2025/2026 season, which will be held from December 10 to 21. A total of 24 teams will fight for their share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
