AVULUS out; MOUZ in DreamLeague Season 27

AVULUS will undergo potential changes with the replacement of MOUZ in DreamLeague Season 27.

AVULUS started the new season with four new players, including Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek. The team immediately secured a place in DreamLeague Season 27 through the qualifiers - a promising start that now seems to have lost momentum. Since then, they have repeatedly fallen short, with their most recent result being a 7-8th place finish in FISSURE Universe: Episode 7.

Now, just when it seemed that their chance to redeem themselves and finally shine had arrived, the team will no longer be competing.

According to the ESL, AVULUS will not be able to compete due to their inability to field a full squad - which can only mean one thing: roster changes... possibly, probably.

AVULUS' current roster

  • Aliaksei "Smiling Knight" Svirydau
  • Artem "lorenof" Melnyk
  • Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek
  • Marcel "Ekki" Hołowienko
  • Dmitry "JANTER" Nikulin

MOUZ go into action

That absence paves the way for MOUZ, a European team that has been making waves - and causing disruption - wherever it plays. MOUZ were one of the biggest surprises at FISSURE Playground 2, when they sent Team Falcons down to the lower bracket.

This will be the second event MOUZ has participated in thanks to another team dropping out. Their participation in BLAST Slam IV earlier this season came after PARIVISION withdrew from the tournament at the beginning of October.

Current MOUZ roster

  • Remco "Crystallis" Arets (on loan)
  • Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
  • Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan
  • Daniyal "yamich" Lazebnyy
  • Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp
  • Coach: Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza

DreamLeague Season 27

A few weeks ago, ESL also announced that Flipster TALON would not be able to participate in DreamLeague Season 27. In their place, Team Aureus - now competing under the OG banner - was the next SEA representative.

DreamLeague Season 27 will be the first event of the 2025/2026 ESL Pro Tour season, which will take place from December 10 to 21. A total of 24 teams will compete for their share of the total prize pool of 1,000,000 dollars.
