Ghost no longer part of Nigma Galaxy

Nigma Galaxy and Ghost part ways after disappointing results at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2

After years of stumbling, Nigma Galaxy’s resurgence was finally showing promise. With stand-in carry Daniel “Ghost” Chan in the lineup, the team secured a top-6 finish at The International 2025, marking a major milestone after years of under-performance.

Shortly after, they pushed into the top-4 at FISSURE Universe Episode 7, underlining that the climb wasn’t over. But at the recent FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 the team fell back to a disappointing 12th-14th place, exposing lingering uncertainty and potential instability.

Especially now as the team begins to shift players around once again.

Although Nigma went to FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 with two standins, the recent drop at PLAYGROUND 2 is a stark reminder that resurgence is rarely linear. The team’s high ceiling remains intact, but turning flashes of brilliance into consistent results — and building a stable roster — remains their next challenge.

Ghost's replacement has yet to be announced. The next tournament for Nigma Galaxy will be PGL Wallachia Season 6, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania. The event is scheduled from November 15 to 23, featuring a $1,000,000 prize pool.
