Get rdy: Competitive guide for September 28th-October 7th
A new week is upon us and that means events and competitive matches will be gearing up or winding down. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.
League of Legends
Worlds 2026 competitors
We now know who our three Worlds 2026 representatives for North America will be (Cloud9, Team Liquid, and LYON), but the seeding remains. This week we’ll find out who wins the 2026 LCS Summer Split and heads to the World Championships as the best team in NA.
CBLOL
Similarly, after last week’s matches we’ve whittled down eight of Brazil’s best teams to just three, although only one Worlds spot remains. Who will join LOS in the country-spanning World Championships in the United States later this year? This week we’ll find out whether LOUD or FURIA take that honor.
Asian Games
While the rest of the world either takes a break or battles for the final Worlds spots, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, and many of the LCP regional teams are headed to the Asian Games. The previous weeks saw a number of friendlies where some nations tested their lineup, but from September 29, it’s the real deal with Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, the UAE, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Hong Kong, and India facing off in international competition.
This is a small but highly competitive event, which will see just four teams make it to a svelte semifinal, before the medalists are decided.

Counter-Strike 2
ESL Pro League
The insufferably long (week and a half) break between two events ends this weekend, as ESL Pro League begins in Katowice. It's not the crazy long absurd format it used to be, but it'll at least keep the demons away for a bit.
It's the Swiss system so it's going to bring chaos as always, and we will be there every day to watch everything we can. Five days of pure narrative. We love it.

Dota 2
BLAST SLAM VIII
BLAST Slam Circuit returns tomorrow, September 29th, for its eighth edition, bringing 16 teams into the race for the largest slice of the $750,000 prize pool. The event begins online in Europe with the Group Stage, followed by the Last Chance Playoffs before the LAN finals.
Note the increase in teams and decrease in prize pool.
The action kicks off Tuesday, Spetember 29th at 12:00 CET with opening matches across several groups.
Regional Affairs
Local and regional fans have very little treats on the menu this week.
Southeast Asia
EPL World Series: Southeast Asia Season 18 began on September 25th with eight teams competing for their share of the $10,000 prize pool. All teams were invited but Xipto, the new Indonesian and Thai stack and Yangon Galacticos are at the top of class undefeated so far. The event will continue through October 8th.
