Get rdy: Competitive guide for September 21st-27th
A new week is upon us and that means events and competitive matches will be gearing up or winding down. With this season's packed schedule it is easy to miss something, so we've compiled a weekly planning guide to keep track of what is going on.
League of Legends
Worlds 2026 competitors
The season is starting to reach its climax as the Worlds 2026 competitors will be all locked up and decided by the close of this week. LCS and CBLOL will crown their champions and confirm which representatives will head to compete at Worlds.
The LEC wrapped up this past weekend with G2 Esports claiming the crown. MKOI and Karmine Corp will be the other two EU representatives at Worlds Cloud9 became the first LCS team to qualify for the World Championships after surviving one of their rockiest seasons to once again return to the international stag.
Asian Games
After going 6-1 in warmup games before the Asian Games, Team Korea, helmed by some of the LCK’s top stars are set to compete this later this month. Their biggest rivals? China and the competitors of the LPL. In what is the highest calibre national competition for League of Legends, these two regions, China and Korea, will be having a dress rehearsal for the real battle to take place at Worlds later this year.
Patch 26.19
LoL Patch 26.19 is scheduled to release next week on Wednesday, Sep. 23, bringing with it balance changes and a huge update to Classic LoL
While all eyes are on Worlds, the month break before it starts means it’s bootcamp mode time for the game’s best teams.

Counter-Strike 2
Shh! Do you hear that? Quiet one second, really listen.
That's the sound of absolutely nothing. No tier one Counter-Strike for nearly two weeks.
Vitality's win over Aurora in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall is the last we'll see of T1 CS until October 3rd. What are we supposed to do now? We've already queued all seven maps in matchmaking.
Just met our family downstairs. They seem nice.

Dota 2
PGL Wallachia Season 9
PGL Wallachia S9 started this past weekend on Thursday, September 19th and will conclude on the 27th. Sixteen teams are competing for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. It was marked to be the first big event following The International, however taking place so quickly after The Aegis was lifted in China merely weeks ago has created some changes in the event, including it being demoted to a Tier 2 event and having four South American teams.
There is still plenty of action in the group stage before teams will start dropping. The playoffs being on Thursday, September 24th for only eight teams.
Regional Affairs
Local and regional fans very little treats on the menu this week.
Europe
EPL Season 40 began on September 12th with twelve teams competing for their share of the $20,000 prize pool. Today marks the first day of the playoffs, with the playing field now leveled to eight teams.
