Serbian tournament organiser FISSURE is ready to kick off the 2025-2026 Dota 2 competitive season with their first major event of the new season, FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2. The LAN will feature a $1,000,000 prize pool and is scheduled to take place from 23 October to 2 November, 2025. The final three days will be open to a live audience.

This second edition of the PLAYGROUND series boasts top-tier teams, including the newly-crowned The International champions, Team Falcons, as well as defending Fissure champions, Tundra Esports. Tundra took home the trophy and $400,000 prize after besting Team Falcons 3:2 in the grand finals last January. A grudge match between these two prime teams is bound to draw excitement.

Besides FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 being the first LAN event fans can catch adjusted and new rosters compete at, most eyes will be on Benjamin "Benjaz" Lanao and his new full Peruvian squad, Team Cobra. Benjaz's team is being supported by a controversial $1 million challenge from betting company 1XBET.

The action kicks off tomorrow at 10:00 CEST as Heroic takes on YkBros and Aurora goes head-to-head with Runa.
