
Aurora Gaming complete their roster with Ws and Kaori
Following the news of two players exiting Aurora Gaming, the team has quickly confirmed their replacements.
On January 7th, 2026, Aurora Gaming announced that both Chan “Oli” Chon Kien and Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek would be departing from the roster. With Oli becoming a free agent, and Torontotokyo deciding to take a break from the professional Dota 2 scene, the door opened for the team to make some changes.

With Aurora heading into closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 28, they were quick to confirm their newest additions only a day later.

Early on January 8th, 2026, a post was made by Vici Gaming via the organisation’s Weibo account. In their communication, VG confirmed that Chung “Ws” Wei Shen would be departing from the team and joining forces with Aurora Gaming. This was later confirmed by Aurora themselves when they made an announcement via their own social media channels.

In their announcement, Aurora confirmed their replacements for their recently departed players, as they look to get the year off to a great start. Moving forward, the team will play with both Ws and Oleh "kaori" Medvedok, who will be taking on the position 3 and 5 roles, respectively.
As Aurora go into the Eastern European closed qualifier for DreamLeague Season 28 on January 9th, their full roster is as follows:
- Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko
- Rafli “Mikoto” Fathur Rahman
- Chung “Ws” Wei Shen
- Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov
- Oleh "kaori" Medvedok
Having not had the greatest of times in 2025, Aurora will be hoping to utilise their new players to get back on track in the new year.
