Astra Invicta: KuroKy continues to play with the stars
Nigma Galaxy may not be gone just yet, but it seems more likely by the day that they could fade into the Dota 2 history books. However, the players remaining on the roster still have some fight in them as they head into PARI Universe, with a few others, under the banner Astra Invicta.
From the stars aligning under NGX, to the gathering of stars with Conventus Stellarum, we are now approaching the unconquered star with Astra Invicta. The theme’s matchup, but the team and players will be hoping that performances can improve following a poor PGL Wallachia Season 9.
Astra Invicta: The aligning, undefeated, gathering of stars – apparently
Astra Invicta may be a new name, but it has an unmistakable amount of talent within its ranks - stars, if you will. From the coaching side, all the way through the roster, there is nothing but talent. While this is a different roster from the one that teamed up under the name Conventus Stellarum at the recent PGL Wallachia Season 9, they still have a few pieces of the puzzle that remain the same.
PARI Universe will see Astra playing with the three remaining players from the NGX roster. Artem "lorenof" Melnyk, Omar "OmaR" Moughrab, and Maroun "GH" Merhej will be taking up their positions, as Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi reprises his coaching role.
While GH was not present for the recent PGL Wallachia event, he joins his teammates from NGX on their new venture, along with two names that have definitely become stalwarts in Dota 2 recently. In the position 1 role, Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko comes in, having been benched from Aurora Gaming in September 2026. In the offlane will be another player that is currently inactive from their main team, Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin of Team Yandex.

Whether this team will be an “unconquered star” remains to be seen. But we will not have to wait long, as they participate in the upcoming PARI Universe tournament, beginning on October 22nd, 2026, before heading into DreamLeague Season 30 later this year. It also is uncertain whether these star-themed stacks serve as trials for new members of NGX or if the players will all move on with Kuro at their side.
