Amaru Gaming enters DreamLeague 27

DreamLeague Season 27 is fast approaching, and as the final major Dota 2 tournament of 2025, it is set to be huge. However, one team has had the focus for the past few days, with the South American roster of TaiLung Mafia hitting the radars. Having taken down OG.LATAM during their regional closed qualifier, then playing under the guise of Chimpanzini Bananini, the team secured what would be their first S-tier event at DreamLeague Season 27.

Shortly after, the team rebranded to TaiLung Mafia, but as of December 3rd, 2025, they will fight under the banner of Amaru Gaming. The roster is currently bootcamping in Armenia, as they prepare for their upcoming efforts at DreamLeague Season 27.

The full Amaru Gaming roster heading into DreamLeague Season 27 is:

  • Máximo "Wits" Orozco Alza
  • Santiago "TaiLung" Agüero Gustavo
  • Oscar "Oscar" Jimenez
  • Rodrigo "n1ght" Cruz
  • Antony "Gardick" López
  • Franco “Astarte” Estephano Hurtado (coach)
  • Eduardo David "NaoG" Valencia Sánchez (analyst)
  • Marcela “kami” Furlan (manager)

With a total of 24 teams competing in the upcoming event to close out 2025, they will have their work cut out to showcase their talents. However, with the recent rise in form of another South American contingent, HEROIC, DreamLeague Season 27 could become their playground. The event kicks off on December 10th, where will get to see our first look at Amaru Gaming.
