All rdy: Your weekly recap of November 30th - December 7th

Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the Dota 2 scene. Amidst the constant swirl of drama, tournaments, patches, and roster swaps, there’s always something unfolding behind the stage. From surprise upsets and standout performances to off-stage hiccups, each week brings a fresh mix of chaos and exctiment to our favorite (and often times most hated) game.

Tournaments

With the Group Stage of BLAST Slam V wrapped up, the spotlight shifted to the LAN playoffs. At this point, it might be safe to assume that in any alternative universe Tundra Esports would still be the uncontested champions of BLAST Slam events. The european powerhouse are collecting BLAST Slam championship titles like Pokemons. The latest being their fourth consecutive championship — that's four out of five possible trophies that were up for grabs so far. Maybe next time BLAST will just send it to them by courier and save everyone the trouble of traveling.

Teams and Players

PARIVISION

Filipe "Astini" Ribeiro has parted ways with PARIVISION. Astini had been with the team for one year, helping the team reach top three at both EWC 2025 and then again at The International 2025.

PARIVISION has been struggling and even reported that they began working with a psychologist within the team as a means to improvement. They most recently took 5-6th place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 6 last month. While the split seemed amicable, speculation ranged from conflicts with drafting/coach/captain and family issues. However, Astini did address rumors and has indicated he is actively able to participate and is hungry for more.

Nigma Galaxy

Maroun "GH" Merhej is now back to competitive play with Nigma Galaxy. The TI7 champion has been on 'inactive' status since October. He will be replacing Tobias "Tobi" Buchner, who left the team earlier this month. Fans will get to see Gh back in action for DreamLeague Season 27 which begins this week on Wednesday, December 10th.

Updated Nigma Galaxy Roster:

  • Aibek "TA2000" Tokayev
  • Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan
  • Tony "No!ob" Assaf
  • Omar "OmaR" Moughrabi
  • Maroun "GH" Merhej
  • Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi (coach)

Team Nemesis

Coming from TI 2025 as the only team to have lost all the group stage matches, Nemesis benched their captain, James "Erice" Guerra, and took Pang "ponyo" Sze Xuan on a trial basis. The team played a few qualifier legs for the first events of the new season and fell short of a spot at DreamLeague Season 27 and BLAST Slam IV.

Word on the street is that Team Nemesis is expected to take BOOM Esports' spot in DreamLeague Season 27. In addition, the team will debute a new roster at that time which will include coach Park "March" Tae-won and is rumored to also contain Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and Joao “4nalog” Giannini.

Neither DreamLeague, BOOM, nor Team Nemesis have released any official confirmation or statements.
