All rdy: Your weekly recap of November 17th-23rd
Nothing is ever stagnant or dull when it comes to the Dota 2 scene. Amidst the constant swirl of drama, tournaments, patches, and roster swaps, there’s always something unfolding behind the stage. From surprise upsets and standout performances to off-stage hiccups, each week brings a fresh mix of chaos and exctiment to our favorite (and often times most hated) game.
Tournaments
PGL Wallachia Season 6
PGL Wallachia Season 6 kicked off Saturday, November 15th, bringing 16 teams to Bucharest, Romania, where they competed from the PGL Studios for the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. There were a few surprises on the menu as OG took top 6 at the event giving them a promising start with the new SEA roster, and MOUZ's thrilling ride to the championship title. Not only was it the first LAN Grandfinal for Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan, it was the first for Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng in more than six years. MOUZ made history for their organisation, winning their first ever S-tier Dota 2 event.
EPL World Series: Season 10
The EPL World Series: Season 10 in Southeast Asia will ran through November 20. The local tournament featured eight invited teams vying for their share of the $10,000 prize pool. In the end it was the Indonesian team featuring Muhammad Rizky "inYourdreaM" Anugrah and Saieful "Fbz" Ilham who claimed the title with clean sweep over Ivory from the Phillippines.
Teams and Players
Aurora Gaming
Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek revealed in Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev's stream chat that Aurora was NOT disbanding, despite being replaced at PGL Wallachia Season 6 and not attending the event.
Aurora Gaming recently underwent a late roster adjustment ahead of FISSURE Universe Episode 7, where they ultimately finished 5–6th. The change sparked speculation that further shakeups were coming, but according to TORONTOTOKYO, the team simply couldn’t secure visas. He didn’t elaborate further, though it’s worth noting that two of Aurora’s players—himself and Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko—are Russian nationals.
In recent EU policy updates it was announced that obtaining visas is set to become significantly more difficult for Russian citizens:
"From now on, Russian nationals will no longer be able to receive multiple-entry visas. This means Russian nationals will have to apply for a new visa each time they plan to travel to the EU"
While it remains unconfirmed whether this policy directly affected Aurora’s situation, it’s a relevant development to monitor as we move deeper into the 2025–2026 season.

Updates
A bug affecting the Void ability of Night Stalker in Dota 2, which disrupted the functionality of several abilities, was fixed in a nighttime update. The Void ability of Night Stalker was secretly reducing the vision of other heroes. This restricted visibility effect was causing issues with the interaction of several abilities.
In addition to fixing Night Stalker, the update included the option to enable the display of atlas progress. This feature was added to the "Heroes" section and can be found in the bottom right corner of the interface.
