Tournaments
HLC Belgrade PRO
FaZe Clan are officially not going to the Major after they lost from 1-0 up against BIG in the final of the HLC Belgrade PRO.
gr1ks and blameF put the hurt on them on Anubis to officially eliminate the finalists from Budapest from contention two months before the next Major even begins, to nobody's surprise, really. They'll be joined at home (not literally, that might be awkward) by Passion UA, who missed out thanks to Liquid's controversial move across the Atlantic, and NIP, who are just a bit rubbish.
The full invite list is now settled, with THUNDER dOWNUNDER probably the most 'out-there' inclusion.

Teams and Players
GamerLegion has brought in Daniel Chan “Ghost” Kok Hong to complete their roster. Indji “Shad” Lub was brought in as a trial for ESL One Birmingham 2026 but the team did not make the playoffs and finished in ninth/tenth place.
Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov will miss out on the next two events as Team Spirit bring in a stand-in for their offlaner. Bogdan "Batyuk" Batiuk will be takiing his place for PREMIER SERIES. Incidently, Batyuk is on Yellow Submarines who is also competing at the event. Therefore YES needed a sub too and looked to Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf to fill the role.
Some of the Chinese teams are in the middle of game of musical chairs. Yakult Brothers.Tearlaments entire squad has been released. Zhou "Emo" Yi who was inactive on Yakult Brothers and Nicholas "zeal" Lim from Refuser is now on SEA team GLYPH. Yang "Erika" Shaohan also parted ways with Refuser and the two spots have been filled wtih Zhou "Yang" Haiyang and Du "Monet" Peng.
