Team Spirit will be without Collapse for two events
Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov misses out on the next two events as Team Spirit bring in a stand-in for their offlaner.
After two rough tournaments without Denis “Larl” Sigitov earlier this year, Team Spirit have been steadily getting themselves back to full strength. With top 6 finishes at the most recent events, PGL Wallachia Season 7 and ESL One Birmingham 2026, the team looked in decent shape. Unfortunately, for the next two events, they will be without their offlaner, Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, with a stand-in brought in to take them through the next month.

Batyuk steps up for Spirit
It has been a busy year for Dota 2 teams, with tons of tournaments crammed into the first half of 2026. For Spirit, they have played with stand-ins at a few events already and will need to do so again in the coming month. With the Tier 2 PREMIER SERIES and PGL Wallachia Season 8 on the cards, Spirit will want to put their best foot forward, especially with the chaos of Patch 7.41a still shaping the meta.
Unfortunately, the team will have to do this without Collapse, who, due to personal reasons, will not be playing these two events. With their offlaner sidelined, Spirit has called upon the services of Bogdan "Batyuk" Batiuk. While Batyuk may not have a lot of experience in Tier 1 events, we have seen him in action most recently at DreamLeague Season 27 with Passion UA. While PREMIER SERIES should give the player a bit of time to adjust into the Spirit roster, Wallachia will throw him right into the deep end.
With Batyuk playing in the currently ongoing PREMIER SERIES alongside Yellow Submarine, where he has already recorded a victory, he will be ready to join Spirit when the playoffs come round in a little under a week. Although not officially part of any team, it seems as though he will need to give up on Yellow Submarines and join Spirit once the playoffs get underway.
Team Spirit’s full roster for the next two events is:
- Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk
- Denis "Larl" Sigitov
- Bogdan "Batyuk" Batiuk
- Aleksandr "rue" Filin
- Nikita "panto" Balaganin
Collapse should be back in time for DreamLeague Season 29, although Spirit’s direct invite to the Esports World Cup 2026 is locked in after their victory last year.
