
Dota 2 at Esports World Cup: Full team list for Riyadh Masters 2025

The stage is set. All 16 teams heading to Riyadh Masters next month to compete for a share of the $3,000,000 prize pool at the Dota 2 competition of Esports World Cup have now been determined.
Riyadh Masters 2025 is the culmination point of the 2024-2025 ESL Pro Tour (EPT) and it is the Dota 2 tournament at this year’s edition of Esports World Cup (EWC). It will unfold from the 8th to the 19th of July in the Saudi Arabian capital city, with 16 teams fighting for the glory. The top 8 teams on the EPT leaderboard received direct invites to Riyadh, along with Gaimin Gladiators, the reigning champions.
Seven more slots were claimed via regional qualifiers, with one team per region claiming a slot. China was the first to determine who would head to EWC. Their qualifier was held back in May at the Asian Champions League, where Xtreme Gaming emerged victorious. The rest of the regions held their qualifier rounds over the past 10 days, with North America brackets starting on June 5 and South America closing the competition this past weekend.

Riyadh Masters 2025 dates and format
Riyadh Masters 2025, the Dota 2 competition at the Esports World Cup, is set to begin on July 8th with a Round-Robin group stage followed by a single-elimination group play. The first two stages of the tournament will be played in the first week of EWC, and only half of the 16 participating teams will make the cut for the playoffs, which will be played in a merciless single-elimination bracket during the second week of EWC, from the 16th to the 19th of July.
