Virtus.pro announce an international roster with Fly and BuLba at the helm
Virtus.pro are entering the new season with three rosters set to compete across different regions.
After a few years with nothing to show to their name, a transfer of power from the Russian state-run insurance company Sogaz to an Armenian businessman, and several attempts to regain their former glory, including a top 8 placement at TI 2023, Virtus.pro aims high for the 2024-2025 Dota 2 competitive season.
They will compete in two different regions with two main rosters, Virtus.pro and VP.CIS. At the same time, the organisation has also announced its commitment to nurturing young players and preparing them for the competitive scene at its academy project, VP.Prodigy.
Virtus.pro are set to compete in the new season through the Western Europe region with a fully international lineup. The roster is formed by the long-time Evil Geniuses and Shopify Rebellion coach Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale, alongside Virtus. pro's Head of Dota 2 division, Georgy "drAmer" Faleev.
"I'm glad that our Dota 2 roster has also managed to overcome language barriers and become genuinely global," said drAmer upon VP's reveal of their new rosters. "At the same time, we remain committed to our home region: our Eastern European roster will continue to compete under the VP.CIS tag in EEU.”

Virtus.pro roster
- Enzo "Timado" Gianoli
- Abed "Abed" Yusop
- Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin
- Vladislav "Antares" Kertman
- Tal "Fly" Aizik
- coach: Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale
Given the short window between TI14 and the first qualifiers, we moved quickly to secure three core players in Timado, Abed, and Tal. With the post-TI14 transfer market still very fluid and many players weighing their options, we want to remain flexible rather than rush into permanent decisions. We're excited to see how Daxak and Antares can contribute during this period, as Virtus.pro already has a strong base of talent, and this trial approach gives everyone the chance to grow together step by step - Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale
Virtus.pro are already on the invite list for DreamLeague Season 27 Western Europe closed qualifiers, which will most likely mark the debut of this new roster. The closed qualifiers are set to commence this week, on September 24. A total of three teams will make the cut to the main DreamLeague S27 tournament, which will unfold mid-December with a million-dollar prize pool at stake.
Interestingly enough, although the VP.CIS roster is also complete and has officially been announced by the organisation; the team is not on either the open or closed qualifiers teams' lineup for the same DreamLeague S27.
