The International 2025 is right around the corner, and every player, team, organisation, and Dota 2 fan’s excitement is palpable. With the tournament returning to Germany for the first time since its inception, there is a buzz in the air. With many years of TI champions to look back on, we are first taking a look at who the two-time hopefuls are for 2025.

Two-time hopefuls at The International 2025

With TI2025 quickly approaching, we are gearing up for yet another amazing showing of Dota 2 prowess from the best teams in the world. However, some of these teams, players, and organisations are looking to become two-time winners of the Aegis of Champions. Be it singular players, teams, or organisations, there are many going in search of their second win.

The Organisations

Natus Vincere

The International 2011, otherwise known as TI1, is one that stands out in the memories of Dota 2 fans across the world. Natus Vincere claimed a huge victory, raising the first ever Aegis of Champions. Since then, even with two second place finishes at TI2012 and TI2013, Na’Vi never returned to the pinnacle of Dota 2. However, TI2025, with a new roster in tow, Na’Vi looks to finally become champions once more.

Tundra Esports

As an organisation, Tundra Esports has not always had the best time at TI in recent years. With that said, TI2022 was amazing, as they lifted the Aegis of Champions for themselves. However, the team has since changed quite a bit. Although only one player is the same, Tundra themselves has the chance to claim the title for the team for a second time.

The Players

When it comes to players seeking their second Aegis of Champions at TI2025, there are many. From full rosters to singular members of teams, there are a few faithful going in search of glory.

  • Oliver "skiter" Lepko – Team Falcons
