Ame, fy, NothingToSay, and xNova are on the same team. Are you experiencing a déjà vu?

It’s not LGD 2.0 (just yet), it’s the new Xtreme Gaming roster. After coming back home from The International with a second-place finish for the third time in his career, Wang "Ame" Chunyu is reuniting with old friends to start the pursuit for next year’s Aegis of Champions.

In a rather unexpected turn of events, Xtreme waved goodbye to Zhao "XinQ" Zixing and Guo "Xm" Hongcheng, who have been on the roster for the past two years and have been a key factor in the team’s success at TI 2025.

“Thank you to the two players for their full dedication and outstanding performance during their time on the team,” posted Xtreme Gaming on their Weibo page. “Every time you fought on our side, it was an indispensable and precious mark on the team's growth path.”

While no further announcements were made regarding what the future holds for XinQ and Xm, Xtreme have already confirmed who will be replacing them on the team.

Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang left Team Tidebound behind to take on the mid lane role at Xtreme. That also leaves Tidebound, who are fresh off a top 8 finish at TI 2025, down to four members.

fy’s one year retirement is over

XinQ’ soft support spot at XG is passed on to Xu "fy" Linsen, who is returning to competitive play after taking a break for more than a year. He last played throughout the 2023-2024 season under the Azure Ray banner alongside his 20218-2019 LGD teammates Lu "Somnus/Maybe" Yao and Yang "Chalice" Shenyi.

The last time fy played alongside Ame was in 2020, a year marked by COVID and online competitions only. Before that, fy, Ame, and xNova were on the legendary LGD line-up that reached the International 2018 grand finals. That was Ame’s first loss in a TI grand finals; the second one came in 2021 when he was still with LGD and had xNova and NothingToSay on the roster. Ame’s third loss in the TI grand finals came a month ago, in Hamburg, Germany, where he once again had his longtime teammate, xNova, on his side. In the TI 2025 aftermath, a mix of former LGD grand finalists are getting back together to battle it once more through a packed Dota 2 season and aim straight at the 2026 Aegis of Champions.
